Terms of work

How quotes, payment, changes and ownership work when you hire us.

Last updated 29 October 2026

Quotes

Every project starts with a written quote that lists what's included. The quoted price is the price. If you ask for something that isn't in the quote, we'll tell you the cost before doing it.

Payment

Half the quoted price is due before work starts and the rest when the site or app goes live. Invoices are payable within 7 days. All prices are in GBP.

Changes

Websites include two rounds of changes, and booking systems and apps include three. A round is one list of changes sent together. Further changes are charged at £35 an hour, or come out of your monthly hours if you're on a care plan.

Your part

We'll need your text, photos, logo and logins for any services you want connected. Timescales in the quote assume we receive these when asked. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you send us.

Ownership

Once the final payment is made, the site, its design and its code are yours. Your domain is registered in your name. We may show the finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Care plans and hosting

Care and hosting plans are paid monthly and you can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future payments and you keep everything. Hosting covers keeping the site online, backups and security updates. Edits are included up to the hours stated in your plan.

Cancelling a project

You can cancel before launch. The deposit covers work already done and isn't refunded. If more work has been done than the deposit covers, we'll agree a fair amount with you based on the time spent.

Our responsibility

We build carefully and test before launch, and we'll fix any faults in our own work reported within 30 days of launch at no charge. We aren't responsible for problems caused by third-party services, by changes made by others, or for loss of business. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under UK law.
